Olive Ewe Valetine's Day Decorated Sugar Cookies

Olive Ewe Cookies | The Crafting Foodie

Cookie decorating is slowly becoming an obsession, and after making these, I couldn't help but make these Olive Ewe Valentine's Day sugar cookies. Yes, these Olive Ewe ones are a little cheesy, but I love them!

I was inspired by Bake at 350's adorable Olive You cookies. I couldn't stop thinking about them, but I took it one step further by adding the "ewe". An ewe is a famale sheep, and the only reason I know what an ewe is, is because subsituting "ewe" for "you" was always part of our homophone lesson when I was a second grade teacher. I have to admit that if it wasn't for that, I'd have no idea what an ewe actually is!

The olives are a bit hit in my house. Three out of the 4 of us love eating olives. The baby has yet to develop a taste for them, but I'm pretty confident that she'll get there. After all, she loves snacking on dill pickles. So, my little grils claimed the olive cookies and the little red hearts.

My personal favorite are the cookies that actually say "Olive Ewe" with the heart dotting the letter "i".  But hey, that's just me and my cheesy sense of humor!

I hope you and your loved ones have a wonderful Valentine's Day!
